Message to Manufacturers
This is a message to manufacturers of products relating to cannabis (production, consumption, cultural, etc.).We are currently accepting product samples of various items pertaining to marijuana, including equipment for smoking / vaporizing / consuming, growing, harvesting, artistic work, and other paraphernalia. Items received may be used in a critical product review to be featured at the Marijuana World Summit, or for other purposes. We do not guarantee that product samples received will be reviewed, but generally only product samples received will be reviewed, thus as a manufacturer it is in your best interest to send your samples as this may result in free advertising for your products.
Gifts & Prizes
In addition to receiving items for product reviews we are also accepting items to be used as gifts & prizes. We would like to award prizes (for example, to those who produce an Anthem video), and we would also like to provide the Summit Speakers with a nice honorarium for their participation. For gifts & prizes we would like to focus upon bongs, vaporizers, nice smoking pieces, music CDs, and are open to other ideas (due to legal concerns, we will not be awarding seeds). Prizes will be publicly mentioned (though not necessarily recipients names) and your product will be mentioned as well. Also looking for a glass artist who would be willing to produce an honorarium for all the speakers (a nice bong?), and for this we would provide additional exposure (please contact us if interested). Depending upon the number of items received we may make gift bundles. If you send us multiple of the same item it will be assumed that one is for our review purposes, and the rest are intended for gifts / prizes.Send For Reviews
Though we are accepting all legal products, and may create reviews based upon the items received, there are a few categories of items that are of current interest that we encourage submissions for, due to existing plans. The top items requested from manufacturers include:- Vaporizers - There will be three categories of vaporizers reviewed. Portable vapes, desktop vaporizers, and vapor pens (including those capable of concentrates). We realize that some units may fit under multiple categories, but we will make a judgment call as to which the particular items best fits with. Multiple reviews are planned for vaporizers to help consumers know what is available, and to help them make the best choices for their needs.
- Seeds - We are encouraging all seed companies to send a complete line of seed products, and as a standing order in the future to send us newly released strains. For the Summit we plan to review seed packets as "souvenir" items, encouraging people to acquire legal seeds to be ready for when they are able to grow. Emphasis will be place on researching strains suitable for their needs. We ask that you clearly identify which of your seed strains are relatively low odor, and which are extremely stinky. Again, generally only seeds we receive will be discussed. Furthermore, it is our intention to grow & review strains, once we are legally permitted to do so, and we will select from the seeds we have received. If possible (optional) please provide a CD with electronic pictures of the various strains, buds & plants, with permission for us to use those images however we choose.
- Banks and Financial Services - Small Business owners, Cannabis Companies, Manufacturers, and Marijuana Businesses still have a hard time finding professional banking, financial, and bankcard services for their businesses. Despite laws making recreational cannnabis businesses perfectly legal for state law, there are still services like merchant processor that cater to the cannabis, kava, cbd, kratom sellers and offer a full range of financial bankcard services for those markets.
- Artistic & Classy Smoking Pieces - Bongs, bubblers, hash pipes, spoons, dugouts, wooden pipes, chillums etc. These are not so much for reviews as simply to show off, and we plan to have a feature article letting people see this "exhibit". We may use a picture to explain something (like in an article explaining how to smoke from various equipment we might use a picture of your piece for the example). Some of the nice pieces might also appear in the background of videos we produce. We are looking for some eye candy pieces that are still functional, as well as some classy pieces. In addition to sprinkling the images around throughout the sites, we intend to have an exhibit of the art, showing off each piece we receive (we reserve the right not to show any for any reason), and of course providing a web link back to the artist / manufacturer (which is probably the reason why you'd send in your samples, as the marketing exposure should be great). Please refrain from satanic, death, violent, and toxic designs. Sexy items will be decided upon individually (stay soft core). We would like to remain on the sides of happy & fun, psychedelic, fantasy, or sleek / classy.
- Flavorings - Flavorings that may be added to smokes, vaporizers, and bong waters are requested. Please provide tips & ideas on how to use these flavorings for multiple applications.
Please send your product submissions along with product literature, and if you desire, additional product information that may bring our attention to features that may be of value to our audience. Depending upon the nature of your product, and costs, if your product comes in multiple colors you might want to send one of each (if you feel appropriate). Please include a CD containing high quality product pictures that we may use for our reviews. If your package is being delivered internationally, please be sure to clearly specify that these are product samples, not for resale (so as not to be charged any sales taxes), and of course do not send THC containing products, such as buds, concentrates, edibles, etc (though we very much would love to receive flowers, obviously at this time it is not a good idea to send such things). WE STRONGLY REQUEST that if you have any Canadian dealers / retailers that you send your shipment to your Canadian dealer and that they resend the package to us from within Canada to avoid any complications with customs. We will send you an email confirming that your package arrived, so please be sure to include an email address along with your shipment.
